A claim is the moment a client finds out what they actually bought. We are looking for somebody to make that moment as painless as it can be — who knows what each insurer asks for, asks the right questions, and never lets a file go to sleep.
What you will do
- Take in and file claims on motor, property and health policies.
- Put the documents together and get them to the insurer on time.
- Follow every file and keep the client told at every stage.
- Contest refusals and low settlements where the terms are on the client’s side.
What we are looking for
- At least a year handling claims at an insurer or a broker.
- A working knowledge of the general terms of motor and property cover.
- Organisation, and calm on the phone with somebody who has just had a bad day.
- A driving licence and the willingness to inspect on site.
